Terms and conditions

Holder. The membership is personal and non-transferable. Only the person registered as a member can use it, by showing their Van Atleet member wallet card.
Included coffee. Includes 1 black coffee per calendar day, in any size, to have at the café or to go. It doesn't include other drinks or food.
Daily use. The coffee of the day is used that same day. Unused days don't accumulate and can't be transferred. To get your coffee, you need to scan your wallet card: a coffee taken without scanning doesn't count.
Coffee with milk. If you prefer your coffee with milk, you pay an extra $1,000 per coffee.
Croissant. For every 10 coffees taken and recorded with your wallet card, you get 1 ham and cheese croissant. The count is kept while the membership is active.
Term and renewal. The membership lasts one month from payment and renews automatically month to month. Benefits apply while the membership is active and up to date.
Locked price. The $17,500 price and what this membership includes are locked for 12 months from when you join. The price only changes if you add something to your membership or switch to another Van Atleet membership. If you cancel or the membership goes unpaid, the price in effect at that time applies when you come back.
Non-payment. If the monthly payment isn't credited, benefits are suspended until it's settled.
Cancellation. You can cancel anytime, at the café or through the same channel you used to sign up. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and the current month isn't refunded.
Closed days. The benefit applies during the café's opening hours. Days the café is closed don't generate coffee credit.
Spots. The Founding Member membership has limited spots. Van Atleet may close new sign-ups at any time, without affecting members who are already active.
Misuse. Van Atleet may cancel a membership if it's misused, for example, if someone else uses it.
Changes. Any change to these terms will be communicated to members at least 30 days in advance.
